The scientific and scholarly journal “Agriculture and Forestry” has been published for six decades by the Biotechnical Institute, now Faculty.
The Journal faced with many difficulties and challenges during these fifty seven years. However, preeminently due to the enthusiasm and great achievements of its scientists – Editors in Chief, Editorial Board and Council, it has sustained and accomplished, not only domestic, but also international reputation, reaching to all six continents.
After transformation of the Institute into the Faculty and appointment of new and Editorial Board and Editor in Chief, whose contribution is without any doubts the highest, this journal has become more contemporary, modernly equipped and scientific papers are being published in English, which has contributed to an increased international affirmation and interest of many scientists from all-around the world.
I am very happy that the new managements succeeded in upgrading the Journal, making it a referential scientific magazine competitive with the Journals of highly developed countries.
