The Journal Agriculture and Forestry (Poljoprivreda i sumarstvo) plays very important role in developing natural sciences of biological orientation (agronomy, forestry, veterinary, biology), not only due to its pioneer work started in 1955 but also as it was open for the authors from agriculture area and not only for them.
Initiators of biology sciences in Montenegro had published their initial research results in the Agriculture and Forestry Journal, and later, taught by the example of this Journal, they formed similar magazines, as Marine biology and the other specialized journals.
Journal is published regularly respecting high scientific standards. That can be justified by bibliography of the authors who were publishing in this Journal, edited by deceased academician Milorad MIJUSKOVIC (Volume 50, Issue 3-4 for 2004, http://www.agricultforest.ac.me/journal_details.php?id=153).
This scientific magazine deserves high position in our but also in world science.
