I have been familiar with the nature and contents of your and our journal THE AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY since the first issue until now. I am also aware of challenges you were faced with in different periods of publishing the scientific journal.
I am very pleased that you have succeeded in conducting activities necessary for the journal to be issued again, to be of a high quality now and particularly to have the content that has achieved international affirmation in a transparent manner.
Agriculture and forestry are important branches of Montenegrin economy, thus the scientific journal is to affirm the science, practice and education of generations that are to come. The journal is particularly important for affirmation of your faculty and Montenegrin science in the field of biotechnical sciences. On the other hand, this journal is also becoming an instrument for the exchange of our research with the world, which has a special weight.
Do your best to maintain the scientific level from the aspect of quality of papers and the openness for papers of foreign authors with international reviews. This can and has to be achieved, considering that you have established a real base for it: the Journal is being regularly published since 1955.
In my humble opinion, I deem that you have made a great progress in respect to all criteria for scientific journals, in order for the journal to be classified as internationally significant. My sincere congratulations to all of you for that!
