Title : THE INFLUENCE OF PLANTING DATA AND CULTIVAR OF WINTER CABBAGE YIELD IN ZETA PLAIN
Abstract : The possibility of winter cabbage cultivation and influence of planting data and cultivar on yield and content of dry matter were investigated under the agroecological conditions of Zeta’s plain. The experiment was organized during 1995/96. and 1996/97. The plantation was done at 15th and 29th July and 13th August. While the cultivars used were Bartolo, Saratoga and Hidena. The biggest average yield was obtained by planting data at 15th July. Bartolo had biggest yield among the investigated cultivars. While the lowest one was established by Hidena planted at 13th August. It has been found that the content of dry matter depends significantly on the planting data while the cultivar influence on this characteristic studied has not been established.
