Title : THE ESTIMATE OF MAXIMUM OUTFLOW AND SOIL EROSION INTENSITY IN THE VINICKA RIVER BASIN WITH APPLICATION OF COMPUTER-GRAPHIC METHODS
Abstract : Certain forms of soil erosion were observed in the Vinicka River basin, left tributary of River Lim (Northeast of Montenegro). On the basis of research results obtained in the field by computer-graphic methods, maximal runoff and soil erosion intensity were estimated. The input data necessary for the runoff and soil erosion intensity estimation (geometric, topographic and hydrological features) in the Vinicka River basin were processed applying computer-graphic methods on all the data processing levels. By the "Surface and Distance Measuring" program, quantitative and qualitative indicators were obtained and they were represented in the form of numerous equivalents. They were used as input data for the "River basins" program, by means of which final values of the outflow and soil erosion intensity were obtained. According to the investigation results, erosion material production is 10668 m3/year, and actual losses of soil from the basin are 3455 m3/year or 184 m3/km2year.
