| Title : | HEAVY METALS IN THE CYPRESS TREE BARK (CUPRESSUS SEMPERVIRENS L.) IN THE VIRPAZAR AREA – SKADAR LAKE NATIONAL PARK – MONTENEGRO |
| Abstract : | Determination of heavy metals contents (Cd, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn) was carried out from the bark of cypress trees, which were collected at two locations in the area of Virpazar (Virpazar and Fortress Besac). Content of heavy metals in the cypress tree bark from the study sites was dependant on the proximity of pollution sources. The results of this study show that cypress bark can be a good bioindicator of air pollution. |
